Izhar Concrete is the parent member of Izhar Group of companies which is the pioneer and the largest single entity engaged in manufacturing of pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete components of widest range and variety in Pakistan. In addition to other construction systems, the technology of pre-casting and pre-stressing concrete elements was indigenized and developed by the founder of Izhar Group, Engineer Izhar Ahmed Qureshi, to best meet the local requirements and conditions.
Our pre-cast concrete division started as a hobby of our Late Chairman Engr. Izhar Ahmed Qureshi in 1960. At that time there was no pre-cast industry, no supporting infrastructure, no tools for jacking, form making, concrete compaction etc. All this was developed by our innovative and committed team of engineers and technicians. The current status of the pre-cast industry in Pakistan owes a lot to these innovative, hardworking individuals who pioneered these developmental works.
At present we have nine pre-cast yards covering almost the whole Pakistan. More than 2,000 workers are working in these yards. Ours was the first pre-cast manufacturing company to get ISO 9001 certification.
Concrete is the most commonly available tested material in Pakistan. Good quality raw material is abundantly available in the vicinity of Islamabad e.g., Margalla crush and sand. Skilled personnel and tools & plants required for concrete production is available.
